The BBC’s remake of The Beach Boys classic song ‘God Only Knows’ includes the man himself, Brian Wilson, as well as vocal contributions from various performers and visual effects that flutter the butterfly wings on Elton John’s jacket.  It’s all to promote the BBC Music network and to raise money for charity.  Read about it here:

If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the BBC video:

You can compare it to The Beach Boys original version here:

Even The Beach Boys hit a sour note every so often:

oh, heck.  Why not.  There’s nothing on radio that’s worth listening to these days, might as well enjoy some music:

Wouldn’t It Be Nice?

Yep.  Can’t leave without throwing some good vibrations your way:

Good Vibrations

Haven’t picked up any good vibrations on the radio this week.

Maybe next week there will be some radio talk hosts worth listening to on Talk 910, with the exception of Ed Baxter who was on one day this week.  We need more Ed and John Rothmann and no more fill-ins like some of what I heard this week.  Actually had to turn off the radio several days in a row.

It’s back to BBC for now.  I’ll try again next week to turn on my AM radio without having to turn it off twenty minutes later.

Maybe if we think and wish and hope and pray it might come true…

and we could be happy (vocal background *we could be happy*) with radio again.
